Your First Brazilian Wax in Roseville
Nervous about your first wax? You're in good company. Most of my clients felt the exact same way before their first visit. Here's everything that actually happens, so nothing catches you off guard.
Before you come in
Let your hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly two to three weeks. Exfoliate gently a day or two before, not the day of.
Skip caffeine right before if you're sensitive. Wear something comfortable.
What happens at your visit
You'll have a private room. I'll explain each step before it happens. The actual wax takes about 15 minutes.
You're never rushed, and you can ask me anything.
Does it hurt?
A little, the first time. The anticipation is usually worse than the wax itself.
It eases every visit as the hair grows back finer.
After your wax
Avoid heat, heavy sweat, and tight clothing for a day. Exfoliate a few days later to keep ingrown hairs away.
Rebook for about four to six weeks out to stay smooth and make the next one easier.
Why a private studio for your first time
You'll see the same esthetician every visit, in a private room, never a rotating stranger.
For something this personal, that consistency is the whole point.
